minimalist dining room. Saturday , July 21st , 2018 - 18:23:19 PM
This changed around the time that Henry the Eighth dissolved the monasteries in England. This caused divisions and tensions between Catholics and Protestants, making mass communal meals difficult. To help minimise tension between people of these different religious allegiances, parlour rooms were established to separate those within the household of different beliefs, whist dining.
Durability is clearly a factor when making this kind of decision - and so with this idea comes the need, sometimes, to choose a material that will not be easily damaged by playful children or a great deal of use. That, of course, is not to say that you can't have the best of both worlds and have a hard-wearing set of materials as well as some cutting edge design.
Step three would be to think of accent decorations. As a minimalist, you wouldn't want trinkets or anything unnecessary lying around the place, but the room would come off as dull and might just seem a little boring. So the trick to adding some life into the room without creating clutter would be to use a potted plant as a center piece or have a vase filled with some fresh cut flowers somewhere in the room. It always helps to use plants rather than other decorations because they are natural and won't seem messy.
