blasé debris biography

Formed in 2002, Blase Debris has dominated the Albany, New York punk scene since its inception. Fronted by the incomparable singer Duane Beer (former vocalist for NY legends Trauma School Dropouts, who in their heyday had groups like U.S. Bombs open for them), the group has shared the stage with a diverse who's who of the classic and contemporary underground scene, including U.K. Subs, Gogol Bordello, Throwrag, Wasp, Joe Coffee and more.

The band's debut album 'Creep Cool' marked a new call-to-arms for the horror punk genre, and garnered the band rave reviews and features in such national press as 'Amp' and 'Hails and Horns'. In late February 2006 the band entered a NJ studio to lay down new tracks for Altercation Records' '666 Rarities LP', all produced by Michale Graves from the legendary Misfits.

In 2008 Blase Debris unleashed new album 'Morfiend' to the unsuspecting masses, and performed on the Vans Warped Tour in July alongside Against Me!, Horrorpops, The Bronx and many more.
