New York, NY - Rising east coast punk-ska outfit The Jukebox Romantics has been confirmed for a run of national dates on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour. The band will join high profile peers such as Cobra Skulls, Face To Face, The Casualties and Riverboat Gamblers for their first-ever west coast shows, beginning on August 7th in Salt Lake city, Utah."We are very excited to once again be a part of the Vans Warped Tour this summer," said Altercation Records co-owner Travis Myers. "This will be our fourth year having Altercation acts hit the road with Kevin Lyman and company, and we couldn't be happier to have The Jukebox Romantics tearing things up on Warped."
The Jukebox Romantics, who recently released their debut self-titled album on Altercation, have been rapidly growing their fanbase the old-fashioned way - through non-stop touring and a contagiously high-energy live show. The band, who will also appear at the 2010 SXSW festival in Austin, Texas this March with label mates Born To Lose, are currently touring the east coast (including direct support dates with H2O and Madball). The band is also featured in the current issue of Amp Magazine alongside Chuck Ragan and Gaslight Anthem.
